Research by DfE showed that most parents failed to report potential child abuse because they didn’t want to criticise the other parents.

To tackle this issue we changed the focus from blaming the parent to a message that centres around the child. A simple ABC formula fronted by our lead character Ono, highlighted the signs to look for in children that might be facing different forms of abuse.
