How do you advertise to the people who make adverts? With adverts of course.

CAN were set up to challenge the ethical impact marketing and advertising is having on our society, targeting 6 key areas: Fake news, Hate speech, Diversity, Consent, Anti-fraud and Children’s wellbeing.

We needed to make advertising people and agencies alike aware of these issues. It’s known that the people who look at adverts the most are people in the industry. So to get their attention we created a series of what looked like at first glance, normal ads. But when you look little closer, they tell a different story – complete with numerous easter eggs.

As a result, CAN have had some of the world’s biggest brands and advertising agencies sign up, and have also appeared in front of and collaborated with the United Nations.
